Quest Group: Chapter 4 - Mastering the Source
Starting Map: Reaper's Coast
To start this quest you should find Ancient Lamp on the beach WE of Driftwood.
We came across a strange, ancient-looking lamp.
If you decide to destroy the lamp, Djinn will appear and you will have to fight with him.
An enraged Djinn was inside the lamp. It broke free and proceeded to attack anyone within sight.
Note: No corpse, no loot :P
The Djinn is dead.
You can also take the lamp and try to to sell it becouse it is quite valuable.
Someone rubbed the lamp and unleashed an enraged Djinn that commenced to attack everyone in sight.
Do it now, or take the lamp and do it later. Djinn will appear. Ask him about three wishes. He will grant you one.
If you want to receive a good reward then you have to use [intelligence] option during the conversation.
[Intelligence] *Argue that not all Godwoken are bad. If you have the Gods' power, you can fix their mistakes!*
If you say:
[Wits] *Tell the Djinn he's lucky, the lamp protected him from the horrors the Gods unleashed on the world.*
then he will return to the lamp.
Make your wish:
He will give you Djinn's Scimitar (One-Handed Sword).
We wished for power, and the Djinn offered a magical scimitar.
We wished for power. The Djinn responded by striking us with lightning.
Djinn will give you Djinn's Gift (Amulet). It has no stats but its base value is 4770 gold.
We wished for riches, and the Djinn gave us a necklace.
Djinn will give you Djinn's Gift. It is very valuable (4770 gold) but it's stolen item so you won't be able to sell it and the guards will try to check your backpack.
We wished for riches, and the Djinn gave us a necklace. Something seems odd about it, but we can't fathom what exactly...
The necklace that we received from the Djinn turned out to be stolen.
He will give you Arcane Stitch Skillbook.
We wished for knowledge, and the Djinn gave us a skillbook.
He will give you a book - Children's Tales.
We wished for knowledge, and were rewarded with a book of childrens' tales.
*Wish to be able to wipe your enemies from sight.*
He will give you Hail Storm Scroll.
We wished for our enemies to be purged from our sight, and so the Djinn granted us a powerful scroll.
Djinn will blind you.
We wished for our enemies to be purged from our sight, and so the Djinn cursed us with blindness.
Djinn will disappear after fulfilling your wish.
The Djinn is free, and left us its lamp.
We managed to imprison the Djinn in its lamp once more.
We have departed from Reaper's Coast. Now we'll never know if there was a tale behind the strange lamp that we saw.
We have left Reaper's Coast, still bearing the strange lamp.
