To start this quest you should find and approach to Magisters (lvl 13) or Hannag. You must decide who you want to help.
We have come across a powerful Sourcerer called Hannag who is surrounded by attacking Magisters. We ought to consider helping either Hannag or the Magisters.
We have agreed to assist Hannag in fighting off the Magisters.
We turned against the Magisters.
Hannag has rewarded us for helping her.
Hannag told us how she and Gwydian were forced to use Source in order to fight off the Magisters that were chasing her - this attracted Voidwoken, and ultimately led to the destruction of the Paradise Downs region.

You need to complete On the Ropes quest and save Gwydian Rince.
