Quest Group: Chapter 4 - Mastering the Source
Starting Map: Reaper's Coast
The easiest way to start this quest will be to find the arena located beneath the Black Bull tavern in Driftwood.
We have learned that there's a fighting arena tucked away somewhere in Driftwood. We ought to investigate this further.
Talk to Blaithin.
A dwarf named Blaithin hinted that the area beneath the Black Bull tavern is worth exploring. She told us to mention her name to the guard at the stairwell for easier access.
Find The Driftwood Arena.
We have found a fighting arena beneath the Black Bull tavern in Driftwood.
Talk to Arran, The Raucous One and select ...
*You are the best of the best! Demand a battle versus the Driftwood arena champion.*
The result will be ...
We need to impress in the arena before we can get a chance at the championship.
Talk to Arran, The Raucous One and select ...
*Reply that you'd like to fight in the arena.*
The resuld will be ...
We spoke to the arena master - a dwarf known as the Arran, the Raucous One. He told us that we should challenge the arena's current champion, a fighter named Murga.
Talk to Murga, The Shadowy One.
Murga told us that she will only accept our arena challenge if we first prove ourselves by winning a fight blindfolded.
Talk to Effie, you need [OUTLAW] character, and select ...
[OUTLAW] *Wonder if she can also mix herbs that have... more negative consequences.*
... then you have to convince her to help you.
We have convinced Effie, the proprietor of Effie's Emporium, to drug the other arena fighters. It should now be easier for us to defeat them.
Talk to Arran, The Raucous One again and tell him that you are ready for a challenge.
We have commenced a blindfolded arena fight.
One of us removed our blindfold, and lost Murga's challenge. It seems that none of us will never the Champion on Driftwood... unless Murga happened to disappear, perhaps?
Win the fight.
We won the blindfolded arena fight. We should be able to challenge Murga now.
We convinced Murga - the Champion of the Driftwood Arena - to fight against us.
We lost the Arena trial. It seems that none of us will ever be the Champion on Driftwood... unless Murga vanished mysteriously, perhaps...
We fought in a trial at the Arena, and won.
Murga has refused to fight us. Maybe we could persuade Arran to let us prove ourselves in some other way.
Although Murga died, we still defeated the Voidwoken and proved ourselves.
Talk to Arran, The Raucous One to start the fight. Defeat Murga and a Voidwoken.
We defeated Murga - the Champion of the Arena - and a Voidwoken that joined the fight.
One of us is now the Arena Champion of Driftwood.
You will receive Driftwood Arena Champion Key. It unlocks the hatch To the Treasury of the One.
Arran granted the new champion a key that will unlock some treasure. He remarked that there will be dangers near it however, adding that it truly takes a champion to claim the prize.
We failed in our attempts to become the Arena Champion of Driftwood.
One of us lost our title, and is no longer the Arena Champion of Driftwood.
A Voidwoken appeared while Murga fought with Magisters, and killed them.
The Voidwoken told us that Murga is a coward - she uses invisibility to win her battles.
Murga, the Champion of the Arena, died outside of the Arena. Maybe one of us can still become the Champion somehow?
We have left Reaper's Coast without any of us being able to claim the title of Champion of Driftwood.
