Quest Group: Misc
This mission may pop up in your mission log when you overhear about a job that Mayor Cartwright may have from a random Akila City guard as you roam the city. If you don't want to wait until it happens then you can just go to the place where Mayor Cartwright is staying and talk to him.
A guard mentioned that Mayor Cartwright might have work, if I'm interested.
Talk to Mayor Elias Cartwright and ask him about the Core.
Akila City's mayor has some sort of problem with Frank Langston. I should find out what's going on.
Then ask Elias Cartwright about Frank Langston. He will introduce you to his problem. The solution is to retrieve a certain will, which is supposed to be located on a farm outside the city walls.
Elias Cartwright has hired me to go to old Sahar's Farm located elsewhere on Akila. Sahar died over 40 years ago when Ashta attacked the farm, and there most certainly will be Ashta there now.
Elias Cartwright is really upset that Frank Langston is living in the historic Core district. He's offered me a job.
To get to the farm you can use the fast travel option.
Kill the Ashtas you come across outside and then open the airlock and enter the building. In the chest there you will find the will you came here for.
I found Sahar Hasanov's Last Will and Testament and it revealed there was one Hasanov left: Blake Aldwell. I was hired to deliver this to Elias Cartwright, but Frank Langston may be interested in this Will, as well.
Return to Akila City. Before you go to the mayor you can talk to Frank Langston. You will find him inside Langston Manor. When he hears about the will he will offer to buy it from you for 10,000 credits. You can accept his offer or refuse.
Frank Langston paid me a fortune to hand over Sahar Hasanov's Will. Now I just need to lie to Elias Cartwright about not having found it and this whole business is over.
A. Return to the mayor. If you hand him Sahar Hasanov's last will then he will be satisfied, this mission will end and you will receive 100 XP and some credits (in my case it was 2500).
I gave Sahar Hasanov's Last Will and Testament to Elias Cartwright. He was overjoyed. I can't tell if he's more happy at doing right by the Hasanov's or sticking it to Frank Langston.
B. If you sold the last will to Frank Langston then you will have to lie, and tell the mayor that you found nothing. This will end this mission and you will receive a little less, because only 50 XP but more credits (In my case it was 8700). So if you care about credits then selling the last will and lying to the mayor will guarantee you altogether a lot more credits at a cost of only 50 XP.
I told Elias Cartwright I didn't find Sahar Hasanov's will. I get the feeling he'll try to find other ways of getting Frank Langston out of the Core, but I'm not sure how much luck he'll have.
