Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Tapping the Grid.

This mission starts automatically after completing the previous mission for Louisa Reyez that is the mission "Tapping the Grid".

Louisa Reyez is still working on the power drain in the Well. She wants backup before talking to the Trade Authority.

Objectives of Alternating Currents

1. Talk to Louisa Reyez / Follow Louisa Reyez

I've agreed to help Louisa Reyez confront the Trade Authority in the Well in New Atlantis. I need to make sure she stays safe.

When you are ready to continue this mission then speak to Louisa. Then follow her to the Trade Authority and listen to the conversation she will have with Zoe Kaminski.

2. Talk to Louisa Reyez / Wait for Louisa Reyez

Talk to Luisa and assure her that everything will be fine. In the meantime, Zoe will return. Listen to her next conversation with Louisa.

Then Zoe will turn to you and ask you to perform a task that will allow you to determine the source of the problems.

3. Locate the Junction Box / Power Down the Junction Box

Louisa Reyez is now working with Zoe Kaminski of the Trade Authority in New Atlantis to track down the origins of a power drain. I need to help them by shutting down certain power junction boxes.

The box you need to get to is located on the upper level.

To get there use the stairs located to the right of Jake's bar.

When you activate this box, Louisa will suggest that you should proceed to the box numbered 45A. Zoe, on the other hand, will say that the next box should be the one numbered 47B.

All you have to do is to interact with one of them. Which one you choose only affects the conversation between the two ladies.

Junction box 45A is located in a small room above the Apex Electronics store.

Junction box 47B is also located on the upper level, not far from the first one.

You'll find another junction box (101F) outside in the New Atlantis residential district. It is on the wall of the CJ's store next to the Athena Tower entrance.

7. Locate the Power Drain's source / Access the Apartment

I've traced the source of the power drain in the Well to the Athena Tower building in New Atlantis. I need to investigate further.

Enter the Athena Tower and use the elevator to get to the apartment floor. The door to the apartment is locked (Novice Lock) so you must have Digipicks to open it.

8. Find evidence

Interact with the Unauthorized Computer > Download Files.

I've found proof that someone is drawing huge amounts of power to hack into GalBank's system in New Atlantis. I need to decide who should get the data: either Louisa Reyez of MAST or Zoe Kaminski of the Trade Authority.

9. Deliver evidence to Louisa Reyez OR Deliver evidence to Zoe Kaminski

Both ladies will be waiting for you at Trade Authority headquarters in the Well. Regardless of which of them you give the data to, you will receive 75 XP and 3300 Credits, after which this mission will end.
