Quest Group: Side Missions
This side mission will be unlocked after completing the main mission "The Caves of Steel". The spirit you need to talk to can be found near the Hirokawa Shrine.
Akito and KK find the spirit of a man who tells them that he's seen an oni. Evidently, it was summoned after he gave a dog in a bandana some kibi dango. Intent on finding the oni, Akito and KK decide to start by tracking down the accessorized pooch.

The search area is slightly south of where you are.
I don't know if the position of the dog is random. I found mine on the street in the western part of the search area.
In order to make the dog want to help you, you must give it a certain type of food.
If you don't have this type of food in your inventory then you need to go to any of the convenience stores where you can buy it for 150 Meika.
When you give the dog food it will lead you to a nearby yard. Approach it and talk to it and then Visitors will show up and try to kill the dog.
Protect the dog.
When you get rid of all the visitors then talk to the dog again and it will call out the Oni.
Oni will agree to let you absorb its power. Do so and you will receive Magatama.
This will complete this mission and you will receive the rewards.
Once Akito and KK give the dog some kibi dango, it leads them to the place where the oni is residing. They fight off a group of Visitors that are drawn by the oni's power, and the oni offers them a magatama in thanks.
