This side mission will be made available after the cleansing of the Chishima Shrine. To start this mission talk to the well-loving old man.
A spirit tells Akito and KK that local residents are unable to drink water from two nearby wells because of a monster infestation. They head to the wells to check things out.

The wells are located in two places northeast of the place where the mission begins. They are far apart from each other. Each of them is defended by several visitors.
The first of the wells, located more to the west.
In addition, the moment you cleanse one of the wells a countdown will begin. You will have 3 minutes to cleanse the other well.
The second of the wells, located more to the east.
Return to the old man from whom you received this mission and talk to him. The fastest way will be to use the fast travel option to the shrine. This mission will end and you will receive rewards.
Akito and KK successfully cleanse the wells of their corruption, allowing the spirit's descendents to drink freely once more.
