This side mission will be unlocked after completing the main mission "The Caves of Steel". To start it talk to the spirit of the little girl who is looking for her mother.
Akito and KK find the spirit of a young girl crying after losing sight of her mother. They decide to help search for the missing mom.

The search area is to the northwest of where you are.
When you get there you should notice a corruption obstructing the entrance to one of the buildings. Get rid of the visitor and approach the building.
Use spectral vision to locate the core of the corruption and shoot it.
Talk to the spirit of the woman who was trapped behind the corruption. After a while, the daughter and the mother will be reunited.
This side mission will end and you will receive rewards.
After Akito and KK find the mother, she is reunited with her daughter. The child spirit appears to be content once more.
