Animus Anomalies

Animus Anomalies are platforming sections. The goal of each Animus Anomaly is to reach its top. If you fall or touch certain objects, you will be desynchronized and respawn at a checkpoint a few steps back.

Books of Knowledge unlock new Abilities and upgrade current ones. When you find a second Book of Knowledge with the same ability, that ability is upgraded / improved.

Cairns

The Cairns are challenges in which we have to stack rocks one on top of the other so that we can create a balanced pile of a certain height. You will receive +1 skill point upon completion of the stack. The Cairns count as MYSTERIES.

Carbon Ingots

You can use carbon ingots to enhance the quality of your Gear and Weapons at the settlement's blacksmith from Fine to Superior. Carbon ingots can be found in areas such as Rygjafylke, Hordafylke, Ledecestrescire, or Grantebridgescire.

Carbon Ingots (Vinland)

The carbon ingots acquired in Vinland can only be used in Vinland and their function here is different than in England. They are used as currency to buy gear from local traders. Although there are only 5 wealth points in Vinland, each one of them will yield two carbon ingots. This means that you can collect a total of 10 ingots, which (plus one that you receive as a quest reward) is the amount you need to buy all the items that are available.

Cargo are the large containers located in raid locations. You can use the materials found in them to upgrade your settlement.

Children of Danu

The Children of Danu is a branch of the Order of the Ancients that operate in Ireland under the guise of a Druidic cult that worshipp the Irish goddess of the Tuatha Dé Danann.

Clues to obtain further information about members of the "Children of Danu" and eventually locate them. You can find detailed information on how to find each "Children of Danu" member in the "Children of Danu" quest description.

Raid civilian locations to gain crew rations and crafting materials.

Cursed Symbols

This area is cursed. Find and destroy the source which looks like a skull and is usually surrounded by a red aura. The symbols will very often be in a place that requires using a bow. The symbols count sa ARTIFACTS.

Daughters of Lerion

The Daughters of Lerion are three extremely powerful witches. When you defeat them you will receive three pieces of Thor's Set and daggers which will serve as the keys to the room where another piece of this set is located.

Flails

Fly Agaric

Hallucination Challenges. Eat a Fly Agaric mushroom to start the hallucination. These can be challenges where you have to follow the clues and activate or go through the gates in the correct order. Other challenges can involve defeating enemies that will attack you.

Flying Papers

Pieces of paper floating in the air. When you get close to them they will start to fly away. Follow them until they stop and then collect them before they reset and return to the starting position. If you are fast enough, you will sometimes be able to collect them before they reach their final destination. After collecting each of them you will receive a new tattoo design.

Flyting

Win flyting duels to increase your charisma. Flyting is a contest consisting of the exchange of three insults between you and your opponent, often conducted in verse. When you accept a flyting duel, you must place a wager to begin - 100 silver, 150, or 200 silver. Flyting duels count as MYSTERIES.

Frankish Nobles

The Frankish nobles are three siblings who are holding a grudge against the Vikings. You will have to duel them to the death. Once you defeat each of them, don't forget to confirm the kill. The power level of each of them scales relative to your level (is higher).

The bracers, pants, and torso from this set can be found in Lincolnscire; the cloak and helmet in Essexe. This is Wolf-aligned gear.

Gear and Weapons

Weapons and armor parts that can be found by exploring different locations across England and beyond. Some gear comes already enhanced, but most must be upgraded by using certain resources. Collect materials in the world to upgrade your Gear and Weapons directly from your inventory menu. The Quality level indicates how much you can upgrade your Gear. Visit your Settlement's blacksmith and use Ingots to improve the Gear's Quality. Better quality gear unlocks the possibility to equip runes and to further upgrade your gear.

Hidden One Bureaus

There are a total of six Hidden One Bureaus in England. These are the places where you will find the documents you need to complete the quest "A Brief History of the Hidden Ones" and the chests containing the parts of the Hidden Ones Set.

Highpoints

Highpoints can be synchronized by climbing them and pressing the interaction button. Synching High Points will reveal territory opportunities, such as wealth, mysteries, and secrets. It can also be used as fast travel to that location.

Legendary Animals

While roaming the world, you can encounter Legendary Animals.They are bigger, stronger, and far more dangerous than any other animals. After defeating them, you will get rare trophies. Return these trophies to the Hunter in your settlement and you will receive rewards such as settlement decorations (Priestess Carving Scheme, Iron Brazier Scheme, Hollowed Monolith Scheme), Skratii Tattoo Schemes (Head, Back, Front, Arms) , Petra's Arc (Predator Bow), or Vordr's Bite (Dane Axe). Legendary Animals count as MYSTERIES.

Lost Drengr

Lost Drengr are human boss enemies. They are powerful vikings that want to duel you. Speak to them and then fight them. After the duel is over, talk to them again and then confirm the kill. Lost Drengr count as MYSTERIES. After killing them all, you will receive the quest "The Lost Drengir of Ragnar Lothbrok".

Material Chests

Locations where you can find chests containing crafting materials - iron ore and leather. These materials are used to buy equipment from local merchants in Vinland.

Military Locations

Raid Military locations to gain foreign supplies, and crafting materials. Certain large military locations can also contain gear and weapons.

Raid Monasteries to gain books of knowledge, river map clues, foreign supplies, and crafting materials.

Nickel Ingots

You can use nickel ingots to enhance the quality of your Gear and Weapons at the settlement's blacksmith from Superior to Flawless. Nickel ingots can be found in England in areas such as: East Anglia, Essexe, Cent, Lunden, Suthsexe, Oxenefordscire, Sciropescire, or Lincolnscire.

Offering Altars

Offering Altars in Assassin's Creed Valhalla count as mysteries and they require you to make an offering. The offering can be money, resources, fish, etc. When you make an offering on the altar you will receive 1 skill point (After making offerings in Asgard and Jotunheim you will receive 5 skill points).

Opals are rare resources that can be found while exploring the Assassin's Creed Valhalla world and earned by completing daily and weekly challenges. They serve as currency to purchase from Reda's Shop.

There are a total of 52 Roman Artifacts to collect, all of which can be found in England. Roman artifacts are hidden Roman masks that you must find and collect. Once you have built the museum in your settlement you can bring the artifacts back to the museum administrator - Octavian, and receive rewards for that.

Roman Excavations

Roman Excavations are places where you have to find keys. Once you find all three keys, you can use them to unlock the entrance to Lutetia Bureau in Paris and that way you will get access to the chest in which you will find the mythical short sword - Joyeuse.

Trials of the Morrigan are new activities added in the Wrath of the Druids DLC. All the trials are purely combat arenas against groups of druids and animals. Trails of the Morrigan count as MYSTERIES.

You can use tungsten ingots to enhance the quality of your Gear and Weapons at the settlement's blacksmith from Flawless to Mythical. Tungsten ingots can be found in England in areas such as: Glowecestrescire, Snotinghamscire, Jorvik, Eurvicscire, Wincestre, or Hamtunscire.

Uí Néill Artifacts

Uí Néill Artifact will allow you to open one of the gear chests that are available in Ireland in which you will find the Cú Chulainn's Shield. You need all five artifacts to do this. Uí Néill Artifact count as ARTIFACTS.
