To start this quest, head into the side alley located in the northern part of Svartrau city. You should run into a soldier harassing an elderly woman there.
Time Segments: 2
People say that it's never a good idea to go towards the sound of shouting. But when I overheard some commotion in an alley in Svartrau, my curiosity was piqued.
I overheard someone shouting in a nearby alley. Should I investigate?
Simply approach the soldier and the woman. You will learn that the soldier wants the woman to hand over a silver brooch - possessing which is forbidden. You will be given three dialogue options to choose from.
The city guard decided to arrest both me and the woman. I'm not going to let him do it.
If the soldier decides to arrest you, you will have no choice but to kill him.
Once you get rid of the soldier, the woman will reveal that she actually wants to sell the silver brooch. You can buy it from her for 50 denarii (it is worth 95 denarii) or skip it altogether. Either way, you will receive 100XP and Skill Point x1.
It turned out that the commotion in the alley was caused by a soldier who'd accused some woman of keeping a bit of silver - one of the greatest crimes under vrakhiri rule.
