Scouting Towers in The Blood of Dawnwalker allow you to scout the surrounding area and discover nearby ocations, activities, secrets, and points of interest. Most towers also contain chests with Ability Manuals that unlock new skills, while some offer additional equipment, valuable items and XP.
Scouting Towers can be climbed only in the Vrakhiri form, as reaching the top requires using Shadowstep and Planeshift. Completing them all unlocks the "Bird's-Eye View" achievement/trophy. Exploring these towers is especially useful early in the game because it helps you discover important locations and strengthen your character without advancing the in-game clock.
