You should start this quest by talking to Dorian Gall. You will find him at the balcony of Micheil Ross house. You can also read his Diary / Groom's Diary which you can find in his laboratory.

Talk to Dorian Gall. You have to convince him to tell you about his plans and to hire you. He will talk to you if Ifan ben-Mezd is in your party, or if your character has OUTLAW tag, or you have read his Diary / Groom's Diary (additional dialog option).
Dorian Gall has asked us to kill his new father-in-law, Micheil Ros.
Find and read Diary / Groom's Diary. You will find it in Dorian's Laboratory - To Dorian's Laboratory - Cellar.

If you killed Micheil Ross, then Dorian will be waiting for you on the balcony, but after the conversation, no matter how it goes, he will disappear. If you get along with Micheil Ross, then Dorian will not be on the balcony anymore. In both cases you have to find and kill him.
