This is the second main story quest in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. It starts automatically right after completing the "Edward Kenway" quest - that is, as soon as you and Stede reach Havana.
Edward, pretending to be the Assassin Duncan Walpole, follows Stede in search of a place to stay before his risky meeting with the governor.
After the opening conversation, follow Stede Bonnet through the streets of Havana. He will lead you toward a weapons shop and give you the money needed for a new purchase.
At the shop, use the funds Stede gave you to buy the British Cutlasses.
With the new weapons in hand, continue following Stede. Soon he will ask for your help in finding a tavern.
Climb the tower of the church where you stopped - you will find a viewpoint there. Synchronize the viewpoint to survey the area and reveal the tavern's location.
When you look down, you will notice Stede struggling with a thief. Perform a leap of faith to quickly reach the bottom, which will cause the thief to take off running.
Give chase - once you catch up to him, tackle him to the ground, then simply kill him and retrieve Stede's Money Purse from his corpse.
Bring the recovered purse back to the merchant.
Follow Stede once more as he leads you to the tavern, where a cutscene will play.
The cutscene ends with a fistfight against three opponents. This fight will allow you to master another technique - kicks.
Throw a smoke bomb as the game suggests and leave the tavern through the hole in the wall.
Hide in a haystack or run away across the rooftops until the guards call off the search. Once you lose them, the quest is complete and the next main quest will unlock - ...And My Sugar?
