In Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced, Pistols are ranged weapons used by Edward Kenway. Different pistols have different Range and Draw Speed stats, while Legendary pistols can also provide unique perks. Some pistols can be found in chests, purchased from general stores, earned as quest rewards, or obtained through certain Animus activities.
You need to collect 12 pistols to fill the pistol displays required for the "Dilettante" achievement / trophy.
