This quest unlocks after completing the "Marooned" quest. To start it, head to Kingston and speak with the local representative of the Royal African Company, who knows something about the Princess. You'll learn that you're not the only one looking for that ship.
Having learned that the "Princess" sails out of Kingston, Edward travels there to search for more information… and ends up finding enemies there with the same idea.

1. Investigate the lodgings of Hornigold and Rogers
The estate grounds are fenced off with a tall fence topped with spikes - making it impossible to jump over - and are patrolled by numerous soldiers. The house you need to reach is located in the northern part. Most entry gates are constantly guarded, but the one in the northeast section - very close to the house you need to get to - is monitored by only two patrolling soldiers. Simply take advantage of the moment when their backs are turned to slip onto the property unnoticed. Right after passing through the gate, turn right behind the thatched-roof building standing there.

Using the tall grass, approach the house in front of you - while making sure not to be spotted by the two soldiers patrolling the area, climb onto the building's balcony. Once you approach the window, a cutscene will begin.

2. Find the Templar meeting place
Hint:
- They are meeting at one of the warehouses by the east docks
After the cutscene, you must leave the estate grounds - but you will have to do it differently than how you entered, as the guards have been reinforced and the entry gates have been locked. Start by leaping down into the hay cart beneath the balcony.

You have a few options, but the fastest way to leave the restricted area is by sneaking behind two guards into the bushes near the wooden shed on the right.

Then, at the right moment, sneak up on the guard watching the opening in the fence that doesn't have a metal gate, assassinate him, and go outside.

The Templars are meeting inside a warehouse at the docks. It stands right by the water. Approach the building from the bay side - where there are no guards - and climb onto its roof.

Cross the roof to the front of the warehouse and jump down onto the red canvas canopy.

Hang from the canopy and jump inside the warehouse through the opening in the wall. Once you are inside, a cutscene will trigger.

3. Escape the area and hide
Right after the cutscene ends, you will be surrounded by several soldiers. Do not fight them - instead, turn right and sprint out of the warehouse.

Vault over the fence or go around it, jump into the water, and then dive beneath the surface. Swim underwater toward the marker - which is the Jackdaw. After a moment, the soldiers will give up the search, ending this quest and unlocking the next one - Trust Is Earned.
