...And My Sugar?

This quest will unlock after completing the "Lively Havana" quest. To start it, you must return to the harbor and speak with Stede. He will then inform you of the losses you suffered - your maps and his sugar were confiscated by the soldiers.

1. Locate the confiscated goods

Hints:

• The guards might know where the goods are
• Take cover to listen in

Crouch behind the nearby crates and eavesdrop on the conversation between the two soldiers - this will give you further clues to follow.

Hints:

• Captain Mendoza knows where the goods are
• He is at the gallows near the docks of Havana

Head to the northern districts of the city, as that is where the gallows mentioned by the soldiers are located. The location is marked with a waypoint. Once you reach the spot, watch the execution - stand on the southern side, as Captain Mendoza must not spot you.

Once the execution ends, Captain Mendoza will meet with the merchant interested in the confiscated sugar, and together they will head north toward the fortress located there. Follow them, keeping a safe distance at all times.

2. Retrieve the stolen goods from the Castillo

Hints:

• There might be clues to where the goods are stashed
• Captain Mendoza has the key

There are different ways to get into the fortress, but since both Captain Mendoza and the warehouse holding the confiscated goods are upstairs, it is best to start by climbing the scaffolding next to the tower with the viewpoint. Next, jump across the beams sticking out of the wall and the crane onto another scaffolding further back, and climb all the way to the top using the next set of wall beams.

From the conversation between two guards standing nearby, you will learn the exact location of what you came here for.

Hint:

• The goods are in a locked room upstairs

It is best when the guards split up so that each one is standing separately - take them out one by one so they do not spot you or interfere.

Captain Mendoza and the merchant are standing on the southernmost corner of the walls with their backs turned to you - so quietly sneak up on them and take down the captain or pickpocket him. This will get you the Castillo Warehouse Key.

Hint:

• The Captain's key unlocks a room in the Castillo

You can take down the guard guarding the warehouse by jumping from the roof of the building.

Once you have the key, simply unlock the warehouse door and step inside - this will allow you to retrieve the items that were taken from you.

3. Return to Stede
