Activate the first rune - Hovering Rune #1.
It seems that using the hovering runes is key to removing the magical barriers that surround the temple.
To activate the Portal you must first activate all three hovering runes - Hovering Rune #1, Hovering Rune #2, and Hovering Rune #3.
We have opened a portal that seems to lead farther into the temple.
Activate three more hovering runes - Hovering Rune #4, Hovering Rune #5, and Hovering Rune #6. Knight of Amadia will appear and talk to you.

Accept the gift - Knight of Amadia's Gloves.
The Knight of Amadia handed over a boon - a pair of gloves supposed to have belonged to Amadia herself.
