Quest Group: Ireland (Wrath of the Druids)
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Children of Danu.
You will receive this quest right after you kill the last of the Children of Danu members. You now have all the shards Deirdre asked you for so you can return them to her.
Deirdre creates a potion from the amber shards to help Eivor gain the scorching power of the sun.
Gae Bolg

Return to Deirdre's hut and give her the amber shards. She will prepare a magic potion and tell you that in order to get the spear, you must stand up to fight and defeat Balor. When you are ready to fight, tell her about that.
After drinking the potion you will move to a realm where you will come face to face with Balor.
Balor uses a giant sword and the fight with him consists of two phases. In the first phase Balor is relatively slow, but he can deal a lot of damage so be sure to avoid his blows. Once you've taken about 1/4 of his life points, Balor will pull off his mask and phase two will begin.
Balor will become more aggressive and start using new abilities. For example, he will be able to send a wave of energy in your direction. When Balor stabs his sword into the ground, quickly move away from him so that you are not standing in an energy circle around him.
You can use your bow to hit Balor in his weak spots. Once you do this you will be able to launch a powerful attack. Balor can also send an energy beam from his eyes in your direction.
After defeating Balor you will acquire Gae Bolg, a spear once wielded by the Irish mythological demigod.
To complete this quest, talk to Deirdre again. If you didn't kill Ciara, she will thank you for it.
