Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest The great departure.

To begin this quest, when you arrive in New Sérène, go to Governor's Palace. When you approach the palace, you will witness Síora asking the guards for an audience with the new governor. You'll decide to help her. You will invite her to your team and together you will go to meet Constantin.

Siora will ask for help in ending the war that her people are having with The Bridge Alliance, and Constantin will entrust you with this task.

Quest stages of The Battle of the Red Spears

1. Reach the village of Vedrhais

Go to Village of Vedrhais in Vedrad.

2. Go and speak to Bládnid, Queen of the Gaís Rad

Go into the Queen Bládnid's Abode. Arwant, you meet inside, will tell you that the queen has gone to wage a war.

3. Go to the field of battle with Síora

Head to Díd e kíden nádaigeis. At a fork in the road, Síora will suggest that you take a more dangerous but shorter route. You can follow her suggestion or choose a slightly longer but safer route.

You'll get there when Síora's sister fights with her attackers.

4. Save Síora's sister Eseld

Kill all enemy soldiers. In this fight, Síora will demonstrate her skills.

After the fight, you'll have a conversation with Síora's sister.

• Insist on the recent defeat. - You'll only make her angry and you'll have to fight against her.
• Speak of Congregation neutrality. - It won't work. You have to choose another option.
• (Charisma check 50%+) Convince Eseld to forgot vengeance. - You have a chance to convince her.
• (Intuition 1) Remember the ritual of death. - You will convince her.

If you don't convince her, you'll have to defeat her. In this case, your Natives reputation will go down(-1).

5. Find the survivors on the field of battle / Heal all the survivors

The time available to find and heal all survivors is limited.

Give everyone a healing potion. +2 Natives reputation when you heal everyone.

6. Find Queen Bládnid

Go to the place marked on the map. You will not find a queen there, but only a wounded, enemy soldier. Siora will start questioning him.

• Convince her to stop - Síora will spare the soldier.
• Encourage her - The soldier will die.

In both cases, you'll get information from the soldier about the queen.

At the end of this quest, your reputation with the Natives will rise (+3).

After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quests Mystery of the ancient ruins, Find Queen Bládnid.
