Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Old countries in a new world.
This quest is one of the two quests you will receive after completing the Old countries in a new world quest.
Go to Magasvár and find the camp.
Examine the markings and the scientific equipment.
Then pick up the Note from the leader of the expedition.
Follow the blood trails until you reach the corpse of one of the scientists. Search the body and find the Travel chest key.
Then go to a nearby camp and open the chest that is there. Inside you will find the Diary of a certain Aphra.
When you get down to the swamp, you'll meet two natives.
A little further you'll meet one of the scholars you're looking for. Her name is Aphra.
Follow her to Dídgídensen Camp.
You can of course enter the camp and kill a few natives, but you can also choose a peaceful solution. In this case, it is best to wait until dark (you can sleep in the camp, there will be fewer guards in the village during the night) and move around crouching. Sneak into the village from the west side. Sneak past the two natives who are patrolling the central part of the village and walk towards the prison. There you will come across another villager patrolling the area. Wait until he walks further and pass behind his back.
The cell door in Dídgídensen Dungeon is locked. You can use the appropriate talent (Lockpicking 2) or the key that you will find in the nearby Stone Chest.
When you free the scholars, go east with them. Then climb up the ladder and wait for everyone to do it (if they get stuck then move forward a little bit and then go back to them or stop crouching).
When you get near the camp, three natives will stand in your way and you will have to fight them.
When you defeat them, you will have to decide whether to spare them or kill them. If you spare them, your reputation with natives will increase (+1).
When you reach the camp, the leader of the expedition will inform you that they have discovered something important and that you should immediately return to the governor. Then you will be automatically transferred to Hikmet.
The governor will be happy to hear the information he has been given and you will get another assignment from him - Quest for a panacea. Bridge Alliance reputation + 2.
From now on, Aphra may be one of your companions.
