The quests are organized into several groups. The index below enables quick navigation to the relevant group.
Start location: Vilario's Rest. This quest will appear in your journal automatically when you arrive at Vilario's Rest.

Start location: Engwithan Digsite. Eothas is drawing essence from the pillars of luminous adra in the region. Whatever he means to do with all this power, tracking down these pillars may be the only way to pick up his trail.
Start location: Neketaka. I learned that Eothas has been spotted near Hasongo, an island with a Rauataian outpost and an adra lighthouse. Hasongo can be found to the west of Neketaka.
Start location: Hasongo. I spoke with Eothas in the ruins of Hasongo but was unable to divert him from his machinations. He bade me to meet him at a luminous adra pillar in a chain of volcanic islands called Magran's Teeth. If I want to know more about his intentions, I will have to join him there.
Eothas has crossed beyond Magran's Teethand into Ondra's Mortar. He makes for the lost island of Ukaizo.
Eothas is going to the legendary island of Ukaizo to disrupt or destroy Eora's cycle of reincarnation. Only by following him there can I confront him directly.
A letter sealed with the symbol of the god Rymrgand arrived for me. I should read it.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. According to Vatnir, a portal into the White Void has opened deep within the Dead Floe, fueling the iceberg's growth.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. I have found myself in another part of Rymrgand's dominion - a tableau of Evon Dewr Bridge, the site of Eothas' destruction by the Godhammer Bomb.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. I've found a corner of Rymrgand's domain dominated by the sea. Timeworn stone structures encrusted in coral rise in the distance, and the waters flow seemingly from nowhere.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. I've entered the bitterly cold realm of Rymrgand. Only by hunting down the dragon Neriscyrlas can I hope to close the Vytmádh.
I've discovered an ancient realm of massive adra pillars encased in copper and stone - reflections of the Engwithan machines I've encountered before. A woman's spirit, flickering and faint, stands shackled near the entrance.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. It seems Brythe's sister Ehrys was among the pilgrims. She hopes I might find some sign of her within the Dead Floe.

Mapping the Archipelago: Port Maje
Start location: Neketaka. Sanza, the excitable cartographer I met in Queen's Berth, wants to compile a complete guide to the islands of the Deadfire, but he can't do it on his own.
Start location: Neketaka. The Queen's Berth district in the city of Neketaka is home to several Vailian families. Two of the most prominent houses, Bardatto and Valera, appear to be in the midst of an escalating feud. Considering the importance of these families, I'm sure the Vailian Trading Company is invested in bringing the dispute to a close.
Start location: Neketaka. Ezzali Bardatto is convinced that the Valera family is planning to make a move against her.
Start location: Neketaka. Kahn has asked me to help her find Oswald, an old elf who owes her 5,000 coppers.
Start location: Neketaka. Rauatai and the Huana each have a claim over the Harapo Epic - an ancient tablet currently in the possession of the wizard Arkemyr. Both Tumara and Netehe are eager to make a grab for the tablet. Either of them would be grateful if the Epic happened to fall into their hands.
Start location: Neketaka. The Gullet is home to the Roparu in Neketaka, the lowest caste in Huana society. By Huana tradition, food is distributed from the highest caste to the lowest, as the queen sees fit.
Start location: Neketaka. Several Roparu in the Gullet have fallen ill with drowner's lung, a deadly and contagious disease. Pitli, a priestess from the Children of the Dawnstars, is caring for them in secret and needs medicine.
Start location: Neketaka. Once you made a fame in Neketaka, The Gullet, Dereo, the local crime boss will send a messenger to you who will invite you to his lair through the Narrow. Correct way (from The Gullet): Go right, go right, go left and tell the guards "Dereo sent a messenger for me".
Start location: Neketaka. A vein of luminous adra is rumored to lie among the uncharted ruins of Poko Kohara. Governor Lueva Alvari of the Vailian Trading Company has already sent one expedition to uncover this vein, but has received no report on their status.
Start location: Neketaka. Kasu, High Priest of Berath, wants to recover a sacred text, the Eulogy of Yseyr. The eulogy rests in the catacombs under the Sacred Stair, a place where only those marked by Berath may enter.
Start location: Tikawara. Himuihi worries that the lagufaeth of Tikawara pose a grave threat to the village. She wants the broodmother dead.
Start location: Ori o Koīki. Ruāsare, the Wahaki chieftain, seeks vengeance on the slavers of Crookspur. Many of her tribesman have been taken into bondage. She wants the leadership of Crookspur killed.
Martino wants a few Rauataian sailors expelled from the vicinity of the Queen's Berth tavern.
Start location: Sayuka. When you leave the Workshop on Sayuka, a soldier will run up to you and ask for help in eliminating the enemies attacking the city.

Start location: Splintered Reef. While exploring Splintered Reef, I came across a tavern filled with vessels, going about their lives as if nothing were amiss. Inside I met a Dargul by the name of Copperhead. He claims there's something strange going on. Judging by the fact that no one seems to have noticed that they are rotting corpses consuming the flesh of living kith, he's probably right.

The Junvik people speak of Nemnok, a mysterious god whose lair is in the depths of the Drowned Barrows. Nemnok takes offerings from the tribe, most recently a boy named Kaali.
Start location: Hasongo. You will receive this quest after completing A Distant Light quest and leaving Hasongo.
Start location: Crookspur. The aggressive Wahaki tribe has been making business difficult for Master Kua of Crookspur Island. Kua asked me to assassinate the Wahaki leaders on Ori o Koīki.
Start location: Neketaka. The Circle of Archmagi believes that Eothas could do unprecedented harm to the Deadfire. Research notes from the wizard Bekarna could prove useful in mitigating the damage.
A peculiar captain by the name of Lofell claims to have come across a dire threat far to the south-east of Neketaka. A threat that stole away the crew of his ship, the Antelope.

This quest will appear in your journal as soon as Xoti joins your team.
To start this quest, you need to talk to Edér after encountering one of the members of Children of the Dawnstars. One of them, Waenglith, can be found at the Port Maje harbor.
Pallegina wants me to help her find an animancer from her past named Giacolo.
Aloth has spent the last five years trying to reform the Leaden Key into a force for good, but the task has proven difficult.
Soon after you visit Fort Deadlight, Serafen will want to talk to you and this quest will appear in your journal.
Atsura has given Maia a task to carry out while she's in my service - delivering missives to Rauataian operatives around the Deadfire. Maia assures me that the missives are nothing more than bureaucratic paperwork.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. Nyvardir, the self-appointed brewmaster of Harbingers' Watch, asked my help in perfecting his recipe for rymsjódda, a lager prized by pale elves for the fortification it provides against chills. Nyvardir believes that a simple addition could make his beer even more effective at staving off the cold.
Start location: Harbringers' Watch. Harbinger Brythe has asked me to take care of a problem facing the Rymrgand worshippers of Harbingers' Watch - the cultists that arrived at the Dead Floe before them. These pilgrims have set up camp above the Watch and attack anything they see.
Start location: Port Maje. I've offered to help Savia by trying to convince Ilari, a gang leader, to help keep order on Gorecci Street in Port Maje.
Start location: Port Maje. Rum-Dumb Riggere, a sailor imprisoned in Port Maje's jail, has offered to join my ship's crew if I free him.
Start location: Port Maje. Tensions are running high between the Huana tribe and the Vailian settlers of Port Maje in the wake of the storm. One of the Vailians claims to have been violently accosted by a Huana warrior.
Start location: Ship. This quest will appear in your journal when you complete the Stranded quest and repair your ship. It is possible that you already have completed the majority or even all of its objectives when you receive it. In the latter case, the quest will immediately be marked as completed.

Start location: Neketaka. Nera Bardatto is worried that her younger brother, Larro, might be getting himself into trouble.
Start location: Neketaka. Tawenu wishes to renegotiate the Duape tribe's contract with the Vailian Trading Company. The deal will legally pass ownership of their lands to Vailian control upon the death of their ailing chieftain.
Start location: Neketaka. Hidden deep in the belly of the Gullet hides Delver's Row. Cloaked from prying eyes, criminals and black market traders here peddle their illicit goods.
Start location: Neketaka. I witnessed what looked like an execution - a man was dragged into a cage and lowered into a deep ravine. Before he disappeared he called to a woman named Biha.
Start location: Neketaka. A Vailian named Bertenno stole Rokowa's Fingers, a pair of expensive gloves belonging to the wizard Arkemyr. Fassina, the clerk at the Dark Cupboard, needs the gloves returned before she gets in deep water with her master.
Start location: Neketaka. I found Degnos outside of the Luminous Bathhouse lamenting the loss of his satchel. He said he left it inside one of the rooms on the second floor of the bathhouse, but the guards wouldn't let him back inside to retrieve it.
Start location: Neketaka. I found a spirit, Muhai, in one of the estates in Serpent's Crown. She was left to die alone, and refused to pass into the Wheel.
Start location: Tikawara. The last of the tribe's koīki fruit is missing. Mukūmu believes that Tamau stole it, but Tamau insists he's innocent.
Start location: Neketaka. You will receive this quest from the Imp which will appear as soon as you complete The Archmage's Vault quest.
Start location: Dunnage. Iron Gut Pietro swallowed a valuable gemstone - Ngati's Black Tear - to avoid its theft, but now he's unable to pass it through his system. I've offered to help him "retrieve" the stone.
Nemnok asked that I retrieve three grimoires of power from beyond the Drowned Barrows .
Start location: Port Maje. With a host of traders left stranded at Port Maje by the storm's destruction, there are no vacancies at the local tavern. However, Thorel, the tavernkeeper, is willing to put me up - if I clear out one of the current occupants.
Start location: Dunnage. The Pegleg Performers troupe is floundering with their current performance in the Radiant Court. To put on a better show and pack the house, they need the help of a wizard and a big blue aumaua. For a share of the profits, I've agreed to find suitable candidates to join the troupe's performance.
Start location: Neketaka. Beina, a dwarf mystic responsible for conning or killing anyone who gets too close, has been seen on an island southwest of Hasongo There's a handsome bounty on her head.
Start location: Neketaka. One of the local nāga tribes put out a bounty on Flamewalker Vessali, a flame nāga shaman who betrayed and murdered one of her own. She was last seen slithering around the eastern parts of the Kua o Rikuhu island chain.
Start location: Neketaka. A Magranite priest in the body of a steel construct has been rampaging across the Deadfire. Anyone who puts the Steel Preacher down for good is owed a hefty bounty. He was last seen on an isle south of Fort Deadlight.
Start location: Neketaka. Uamoru, a nature godlike and pretender to the Kahanga throne, is attempting to foster rebellion against the leadership of Neketaka. He and his followers camp on an island east of Magran's Teeth.
Start location: Neketaka. Dhwrgas, an orlan monk, is wanted for crimes against his former monastic order. He has been tracked to the wilderness of Crookspur Island, northwest of Neketaka.
Start location: Neketaka. A siren has been steering ships into the rocks. Survivor accounts tell of Onadere haunting the western isles of the great Kua o Rikuhu chain.
Start location: Neketaka. Ikorno, an aumaua wizard, makes sport of killing elite Huana warriors. Those who suspect him of being a Rauataian agent have put a bounty on his head.
Start location: Neketaka. Urnox Breinth, a Rathun warlord, has been launching attacks on Neketaka's shipping lanes. He and his crew were last seen taking shelter on an island in the southern midpoint of Magran's Teeth.
Start location: Neketaka. Meryel the Mad is an animancer with no respect for life. A long history of bloodthirsty experiments have earned her a price on her head.
Start location: Neketaka. A drake called Pūrākau has taken roost at an oasis northeast of Maje Island, where it torments travelers seeking water and rest. The locals have offered a generous reward for Pūrākau's head.
Start location: Neketaka. Raider and gang leader Nomu the Marauder escaped custody with the rest of his crew. They fled to the wilderness northwest of Neketaka, leaving carnage in their wake and a bounty open to collect.
Start location: Neketaka. A sea troll called Tāhae has made a name for himself raiding fishing villages south of Neketaka. There's a bounty reward for anyone who brings in Tāhae's head.
Start location: Dunnage. Dessiral wants me to track down the pirate ogre Torkar, the Firebrand's master tactitian, and kill him.

Start location: Neketaka. Queen Onekaza has asked that I aid her in a plot to destroy Rauatai's powderhouse and implicate the Vailian Trading Company. This would debilitate Rauatai's armaments and disgrace the Vailian's colonial leadership in one fell swoop.
Start location: Neketaka. With matters in the Deadfire reaching a boil, Queen Onekaza's watershapers must be ready for anything. In spite of the pressures from all around, the head of the Watershapers Guild does not answer the queen's summons.
Start location: Neketaka. Queen Onekaza has asked me to recruit the Wahaki tribe to her cause. Though confrontational and divisive, she feels that the tribe will prove a critical ally in the contentious days ahead.

Start location: Dunnage. Captain Furrante is convinced that the only way to Ukaizo starts by gaining command of Lucia Rivan's Floating Hangman. With the Engoliero do Espirs in my possession, I'm to sail to sea and draw the undead Darcozzi paladin to me.

At the palace, I encountered Nirro, a representative of the Vailian Trading Company. It seems like the Vailians have a strong presence in the region. It may be worth my time to make contact at their headquarters.
Start location: Neketaka. Director Castol has a contact among the Príncipi, Captain Furrante, who is apparently in a position to aid certain Vailian trade prospects on the island of Crookspur.
Lueva Alvari has called together a meeting of the Vailian Trading Company's key investors, demanding Director Castol's removal from his post.
Now that his position within the Vailian Trading Company is secure, Director Castol has outlined a plan to cripple the Royal Deadfire Company by destroying its powderhouse.
