Quest Group: Chapter 2 - Escape from Reaper's Eye
Starting Map: Fort Joy
To start this quest you should find Necromancers (lvl 7) locked in the tower at the end of the Gargoyle's Maze.
We encountered a number of undead beings sealed in an underground vault.
Talk to Necromancers. You need 2 points of Persuasion or more to be able to intimidate them so they won't attack you (*Early Access* Version).
*Flash an intimidating smile. If they think Braccus was bad, they should see your curses...*
If you fail, you will have to kill them. In the corpse of Necromancer Tasmyn you will find Filthy Iron Key. You can use it to open a big, locked door that allows you access the rest of the tower. After you kill them, quickly leave the area, becouse they will respawn soon.
If you intimidated them then they will ask for your help. They want you to destroy three soul jars.
Note: You can destroy or consume soul jars before you talk to Necromancers and then they will be already dead when you come here.
Soul Jars can be found in Dark Cavern / Madman's Enclave treasure room:
Necromancer Tamsyn's Soul Jar is connected to Necromancer Tasmyn.
Necromancer Gwick's Soul Jar is connected to Necromancer Gwick.
Necromancer Rask's Soul Jar is connected to Necromancer Rask.
You can get this information during the converation with undead Necromancers.
The undead necromancers told us that their Soul Jars were sealed in a secret treasury. We should seek them out, in order to let the necromancers rest in peace.
If you killed the undeads then after few seconds they will repawn. If you are near, you will have to fight them again.
We learned that the undead keep reviving themselves, no matter how many times we strike them down. They must be necromancers of some kind.
It's optional. You will find Tattered Blueprint in the secret room in the same tower where the Necromancers are.
We found a map of the vault. The document hints of Illusions and Soul Jars. Plus, there's mentions of Braccus Rex. That's probably where the Soul Jars of these Necromancers are secured.
Destroy all three soul jars.
We destroyed the Soul Jars. The undead can no longer revive themselves.
Absorb souls locked inside all three soul jars. Each of them will grant you one additional Source Point.
We consumed the necromancers' Soul Jars. They are gone for good.
We left the island without helping the undead necromancers. They will likely be trapped where they are for all eternity.
