The Welcoming Party Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Travel to Jorvik docks

To start this quest you must travel to docks in Jorvik. If you haven't been there before, the easiest way to get there is to sail a boat.

2. Search for Ljufvina

To find out where you can find your friends you should go to a nearby trading depot.

The dockmaster, Grigorii will tell you where your friends live.

3. Find Ljufvina's house

Go to the northern part of the city and you will find the house Grigorii told you about there. Enter the house. You'll notice signs of a struggle in the house.

4. Follow the trail of conflict

Start by examining the small table and some scrolls.

Then examine the edge of the window and the traces of blood on the upper floor.

Go outside and examine the broken barrel.

Turn right and a little further on you will find a corpse which you should examine.

Go further and you will reach a building where you will meet Ljufvina. She will tell you that she was attacked and someone tried to kill her, probably to get the scroll she has. You will then head to the royal hall where Hjorr is waiting for you.

5. Escort Ljufvina to the Royal Hall

Slowly walk with Ljufvina. When she stops, try to blend in, for example sit on a bench next to her or use the weaving loom and then the nearby guards should go away. If you are detected, you will simply have to kill the soldiers.

Along the way the woman will tell you about an organization called the Red Hand that is trying to take control of the city. Eventually you will reach the royal hall where you will meet Hjorr.

Hjorr will introduce you to King Ricsige. The king will agree to you carrying out your investigation but will want you to do it quietly.

6. Walk with Hjorr / Speak with Ljufvina

Return with Hjorr to Ljufvina and talk to her. She will have some information and tips for you on what to do next. This will complete this quest and you will receive two new ones - Pricking the Needle and Burning the Firebrand.
