On Borrowed Time Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Speak with Vili / Follow Vili / Reach Stoneburgh

Vili is waiting for you near the north gate. Go there, talk to him, then mount a horse and ride with him until you reach Stoneburgh. The village will be on fire.

There you will meet Trygve who will ask you to help free people trapped inside burning buildings.

2. Search for survivors

The survivors are located in three various burning houses in Stoneburgh. The first person you need to help is in the building shown in the picture below. Go inside and revive the man.

Another two people will be trapped inside a large granary standing in the middle of the village. The door is barred and you must get inside through the opening at the top of it. Go inside, destroy the crates blocking access to the door and then destroy the lock on the door and open it. Then one of the people inside will carry the other one outside.

In the house shown in the picture below you will find the last two people. You have to carry out any one of them, but the wife is already dead, so it is best to carry out the man.

When you have helped the people trapped in these houses you will hear Vili calling for assistance. Find him near one of the burning houses located near the granary and help him move the column blocking the door.

3. Bring the villager to safety

Vili will pick up the man lying inside the house and you should help the woman. Together with Vili carry these people to a safe place outside the settlement.

After a short conversation between you, Vili and Trygvar, Vili will leave you and then Trygvar will ask you to talk to him about what he is about to face.

4. Find and speak to Vili

The Kinder Downfall is northwest of Stoneburgh. Vili set up his camp in a cave behind a waterfall.

You will try to convince Vili that he should become the new Jarl, but he will be reluctant to do so.

Your conversation is interrupted by the arrival of a messenger, who informs you that Vili's father is near death.

5. Reach Hemthorpe's longhouse

When you reach the longhouse in Hemthorpe, Hemming will say goodbye to his son and then he will fade away.

6. Find and speak to Trygve

Trygve is tending to the Pyre's preparation at Odin's Rest. Head there and talk to Trygve. This conversation will end this quest and you will receive three new ones - "Adorning the Adorned", "Rowdy Raiders", and "Of Blood and Gods".
