This is the first mission that you will play after leaving Norway and reaching England.
With Sigurd leading the way, the Raven Clan travels upriver into the heart of England in search of the conquering sons of Ragnar Lothbrok.

To begin The Swan-Road Home you must first complete The Seas of Fate.
Quest stages of The Swan-Road Home
1. Reach Halfdan's settlement
The boat will sail automatically up the river and at some point you will reach a chain spanning the river, which blocks the way forward.
2. Release the naval chain
Get off the boat, get rid of the guards who are watching the chain and use a bow or your axe to destroy the wheel on which the chain is attached.
3. Return to the longship / Reach Halfdan's settlement
Return to the boat to continue your journey. After some time you should reach the settlement and you will moor your boat at the pier. This quest will end.
