Quest stages of The Stolen King
1. Find and speak to Modron
She is near the Rollendritch / Glowecestrescire standing stones. After you tell her what you found out, she will offer to take you to the place the druid mentioned.
2. Follow Modron
Follow her and she will lead you to the crossroads near Thieves' Warren. She will leave you there, wishing you good luck and telling you that she will be waiting by the nearby shrine.
3. Find Gwilim
Gwilim is inside the Thieves' Warren. There are quite a few enemies in the camp but it is relatively easy for you to avoid the fight entirely. Simply enter the camp through the drainage canal located to the right of the main gate.
Walk a few steps through the canals and after a while you will be able to climb the bank on the right and sneak into a hut located a few steps away.
Inside, you'll meet both Gwilim and the still-living Tewdwr. Gwilim will claim that it was Cynon who told them to get rid of Tewdwr, but they decided to kidnap him and demand a ransom. Tewdwr, who is still under the effect of the herbs, will drop to the ground so you will have to carry him to Modron to heal him.
4. Carry Tewdwr back to Modron
Pick up the half-conscious Tewdwyr and carry him to Modron. If you want to do it without being seen you can go back the same way you came here. You can also use the exit on the other side of the hut, go through the canals and tall grass and then exit through the drainage canal to the left of the main gate.
Then bring Tewdwr to Modron who is waiting nearby.
You will tell her who is behind the kidnapping and you will discuss Cynon's motive for a while. How you answer the question of how you want to deal with Cynon has no bearing on the rest of the game. You will leave Tewdwr in Modron's care to head to Glowecestre to confront Cynon yourself.
After completing The Stolen King you will get or will be able to get A Love Betrayed.
