Snaring Thorstein Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Talk to Sichfrith

Head to the market square and talk to Sichfrith. He will tell you about a woman named Ama who you should talk to if you want to learn more.

2. Find and question Ama

You will find her near the marina.

When you talk to her she will challenge you to a drinking duel. No matter if you win or lose, she will tell you that she is a close friend of Thorstein and that she has the key to his lair. Then she will start walking away. She will be accompanied by her bodyguards.

3. Steal the key

Ama and her bodyguards will follow the road toward Dubgaill Landing. You can of course attack them and take the key from the corpse but if you want to do it discreetly then wait until Ama separates from her bodyguards and then approach her and steal the key.

Such a possibility will occur, for example, when Ama turns to the pier to vomit. You can get close to her by jumping over piles sticking out of the water.

4. Find Thorstein's hideout

Thorstein's hideout entrance is found in one of the houses in Dubgaill Landing.

If you want to go inside unnoticed then you can use the window.

You can open the gate with the key you got from Ama.

5. Find and capture Thorstein

Go down into the cave. There you will find both Thorstein and some of his other men.

In any way you like, get rid of his men and defeat Thorstein.

6. Carry Thorstein to the castle

Tie him up and pick him up. If you want to leave the camp without fighting then go out the window and then over the rock ledge.

When you deliver Thorstein to Bárid, he will ask you to decide his fate. No matter which option you choose, Bárid will banish Thorstein from Dublin. This quest will end and you will receive the next one - "Rathdown Build Up".
