Old Wounds Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Talk to Estrid / Follow Estrid

Talk to Estrid. You will find her at the town market.

Then follow her and she will lead you to a nearby brothel where there should be a man named Rollo who can help her escape.

2. Enter the brothel / Protect Rollo / Speak with Rollo

Enter the brothel and start a conversation with Rollo. At some point your conversation will be interrupted by arriving Saxon soldiers who want to arrest Rollo.

You both will try to escape through the back window but you will encounter some soldiers anyway and will have to fight them.

When you get rid of the enemies talk to Rollo. He will tell you that you should visit his camp. You can go there with him but it is not necessary. It will be the easiest if you just go to the place marked on the map, located northeast of the city.

3. Join Rollo at his camp / Find the traitor

When you reach the camp you will find that it has been raided by Saxon soldiers. For some reason two of his men were not killed by the Saxons but were left alive. Rollo will ask you to determine if either of them is a traitor.

Start by checking two places in the camp: a rack of hunted game...

...and a place in the tall grass where someone could have been hiding.

Then talk to both suspects - Gerhild and Lork, and listen to what they both have to say. They will both try to lie to you. Then talk to Rollo, tell him what you learned and who you think is the traitor. You can point at any person and then Rollo will kill this person. To avoid making a mistake you should point at Gerhild, becouse she is the traitor.

Note: If you point to the wrong person, you will find out about it at the end of the "Twists and Turns" quest.

4. Find and rescue the Danes / Eradicate the camp

Your next task will be to free the Danes who have been captured. For this purpose you have to go to Port Walton.

You will find them imprisoned in two cages. You can try to sneak up to them and free them as soon as possible so they can help you get rid of all enemies present in the camp.

There are quite a few Saxon soldiers, including a few elite, in the camp which you will have to eliminate. It is best to start by destroying the alarm bell. Then, with the help of the freed Danes, eliminate remaining Saxon soldiers in any way that suits you. The large number of oil jars found in the camp should make this task easier for you.

When you kill all opponents you will talk to Rollo and tell him what you need from him and then this quest will end.
