Honor Has Two Edges Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Find and speak to Faravid

Faravid's camp - Alortun is near the southwestern border of Eurvicscire. When you get there you will find Faravid talking to Ulf. Ulf doesn't trust you and makes no secret of it.

Faravid will ask you the reason for your visit to his camp. It doesn't matter what you choose, even if you tell Faravid the truth, the outcome will be the same.

2. Escort Faravid and his men

Follow Faravid and his men northwest. The Picts will be waiting in ambush positions, but you can ambush them first if you want. Move forward and eliminate further opponents.

If you want Faravid to move to your position, then raise your torch.

Eventually you should reach the entrance to the cave - Wiccan's Cave.

3. Speak to Faravid

Faravid and his men will go around the hill to the other cave entrance and your task will be to go through the cave.

4. Follow the Picts through the caves

To enter the cave, you will have to climb on a rock and jump over ice stalagmites.

At some point, you will have to grab onto rocky ledges and climb them up to a tree growing in the cave.

Walk through the tree branches, jump to the rock lon the other side and climb up to the tunnel at the top.

After some time you should reach two warriors. Kill them...

...and check their bodies and you will find a note with orders.

5. Report to Faravid

Keep walking and you will soon reach the other exit from the cave, where Faravid will be waiting for you. You will show him the note you found. Suddenly three Picts scouts will appear and they will start to flee.

6. Kill the Pict scouts

Immediately start chasing them and try to kill them before they reach Stenwege Camp. If you fail and one of them reach the camp, then he will alert his companions and you won't be able to enter the camp stealthily.

7. Regroup with Faravid

Speak with Faravid to discuss the plan.

8. Find and kill the Pict Chief

You have to infiltrate Stenwege Camp, and find and assassinate the Pict Chief. You'll find him at the top of the camp within the innermost walls. You can try to enter the camp stealthily, but as soon as you are detected Faravid and the others will start an open attack. The door to the inner ring of the camp is locked and the key is in the possession of one of the guards. It is the same warrior who also possesses the ingot.

With the key you can go to the western section of the fort, kill the enemies there and use the key to open the door leading to the inner section of the fortress.

However, there is an easier way to get to the inner part of the fortress. To do this, you must approach the fortress from the northwest side.

Warning: When using the alternative route described below, there may be a problem collecting the ingot that drops from one of the enemy soldiers in the camp. So just in case, it is better to use it when you already have that ingot.

There is a tree there which you can climb up to the wall and then through the hole get to the inner part of the fortress.

Once inside the inner part of the fortress, you can kill the soldiers there, one of them, elite one, has a key to open the tower. You can also sneak to the tower in the middle and climb to its top.

From there you will be able to perform a stealth attack and then, with a little luck as the margin for error will be very small, you will skip the entire boss fight with Galan, Son of Mordeleg.

If you don't manage to assassinate him then you will have to defeat him the traditional way. One of the biggest difficulties in this fight will be that it takes place in a small arena and your opponent uses long-range weapon. You can try to destroy oil jars while your opponent is next to them, but be careful not to take unnecessary damage yourself. At some point in the fight, your opponent will destroy the floor and you will fall a level below. There are few more oil jars there.

After defeating Galan, Eivor will take him outside and try to interrogate him. He doesn't get the chance to do so because Faravad will kill him, claiming that the documents he has found are enough.

After that you will have a chat with Ulf and Faravid. Whichever option you choose, you will drink wine together and then Faravid will tell you about his plan to defeat the Picts before the winter sets in. H is aware that the Jarl will not agree to such a scenario. You will have to choose how to answer him. You can assure him that you will keep this information to yourself, tell him that you are not going to keep it secret from Halfdan, or choose a third option that seems to be neutral. Either way, your choice will not make a significant difference.
