Heavy Is the Head Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

This quest begins when the captured Burgred is delivered to the Tamworth Fortress, that is, when the "Tilting the Balance" quest is completed. Ivarr wants to spend some time with you.

With Burgred captured and Ceolwulf warming the seat of the throne, the time has come to crown Mercia's new ruler.

To begin Heavy Is the Head you must first complete Tilting the Balance.

Quest stages of Heavy Is the Head

1. Walk with Ivarr

Go with Ivarr. You will sit down at the table and talk about his plans for the future while drinking. You will wake up the next morning with a light hangover.

2. Reach the longhouse

Go to a longhouse where you will witness the abdication and handing over of the crown.

When the ceremony is over, a messenger will run into the building and inform you that the soldiers led by Leofrith are heading for Repton. Ceolwulf will ask you to go there and save his son.

3. Travel to Repton

You can use the fast travel option or get there in another way. When you reach the settlement you will hear from Ubba that you should check the Isle of Waifs.

4. Search for Ceolbert on the Isle of Waifs

Go to the place indicated by Ubba. When you get there you will meet there Leofrith who is going to kill Ceolbert. You challenge him to a duel and he will accept your challenge.

5. Defeat Leofrith

Leofrith uses a long sword. Dodge or parry his blows and counter-attack and you shouldn't have any major problems with him.

When you defeat him you will be able to decide on his fate.

You will get two options:

(Spare) Burgred abandoned you. - You tell him the truth about Burgard. As a token of gratitude, he will tell you how to stop the Zealots. After completing this quest you will receive a new quest "Hunted".
(Kill) Pray to your god now. - You will kill him and you will not hear how to stop the Zealots.

6. Bring Ceolbert back to the brothers

Return with Ceolbert to Repton where Sigurd and the brothers will be waiting for you. The King thanks you for saving his son and helping to take over the throne. Sigurd will tell you where he is going to travel now and this quest will end.
