Binding Fate Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

Group: Asgard / The Fate of the High One

This quest will be given to you once you have completed all the quests in Jotunheim, talked to Valka ("Bound to Fate"), and then drank the potion that will allow you to travel to Asgard again. Ivaldi will give you a cord, Gleipnir, which you can use to bind Fenrir.

Eivor takes on Odin's doom to save Asgard.

Quest stages of Binding Fate

1. Speak to Tyr

Go to the island located in the western part of Asgard and talk to Tyr. Eivor will ask him to help him convince the wolf to let him be bound.

Speak to Tyr

Tyr will help you, which unfortunately will end very badly for him.

Speak to Tyr

2. Defeat Fenrir

Fanrir is big and if you want to defeat him then you should focus on his weak points which are on his legs (they glow green). The ranged ability "Focus of the Nornir" can be very useful during this fight. Notice that there are a lot of healing mushrooms and arrows in the arena which you can use during the fight. It is best to keep your distance and shoot accurately with your bow.

Defeat Fenrir

If Fenrir digs into the ground, start running. Pay attention to the moving trail of rocks and don't let it get too close to you. If this happens, Fenrir will jump out and can do some serious damage. Fenrir can bite you and then you will have to "Mash" button to break free.

Defeat Fenrir

When Fenrir's life bar drops to about 2/3, a "Bind" option will appear.

Defeat Fenrir

Eivor will use his Gleipnir and the second phase of the fight will begin. In this phase, Fenrir can grab a massive tree trunk in his mouth and then perform sweeping attacks. When he does it, keep a good distance so you don't get hit.

Defeat Fenrir

Watch out for the tornado that will appear in the arena when Fenrir starts to spin.

Defeat Fenrir

Once your opponent has lost another 1/3 of his health bar, Eivor can use Gleipnir again and the third phase will begin. Fenrir will jump onto a nearby cliff and start hurling boulders in your direction. After a while, the wolf will jump back to you, and you can continue the fight.

Defeat Fenrir

When Fenrir's health drops to zero, Eivor will finally tie him up and the fight will be over. This quest will end and you will receive a new one - "Cheating Fate".

After completing Binding Fate you will get or will be able to get Cheating Fate.
