You will receive this side quest when you complete the event "Stealing From Thieves", which is when you pick up the Smuggled Cargo that can be found in the bandit camp located n northwest Melunois.

Eivor finds a crate once carried by a smuggler bound for Paris. Completing the delivery could lead to payment.

1. Find and speak to the smuggler's contact

The contact can be found by the docks in North Paris.

Talk to the man and you will find out that these are medicines for sick children. Choose one of the three possible answers.

Take your wares, but I want extra payment. (Charisma 2) - You will get 1000 silver.
Take your wares, and I expect to be paid. - You will get 500 silver.
Take it at no cost. - You will not want anything in return and the man will be very grateful to you.
