A Feast to Remember Assassin's Creed Valhalla Quest

1. Find and speak to Suttungr

Go to Utgard and find Suttungr. He is very tall so you should have no problem locating him.

He will be very pleased that you have recovered his cauldron and will decide to hold a feast to honor you. He will also tell you where you can find his daughter, Gunlodr, and ask you to bring her to the feast.

2. Find and speak to Gunlodr

Her Grotto is within the stone circle. The entrance is hidden by magic, but if you stand in the place shown in the picture below you will see it and you will be able to go inside.

After a short conversation, no matter what you say, Gunlodr will agree to go to the feast thrown by her father.

3. Follow Gunlodr

Exit the grotto, get on the stag and follow Gunlodr to the Feasting Hall.

When you arrive at the venue Suttungr will ask you to address the gathered people. If you choose the right options during your speech, the Jotuns will be pleased and toast you, thus will drain the cauldron a bit (next objective). The best sentences are:

• I am a mighty warrior.
• I respect you.
• Let us just get to drinking!

4. Empty the cauldron

A progress bar will appear on the screen showing the level of filling the cauldron, this time you must make it drop to zero. You have to talk to the guests and make them want to make a toast.

Musicians

Talk to the musicians sitting near the throne. They will tell you that one of their instruments has been stolen, probably by a group of kids.

Climb to the top of the cauldron and confront the kids. They will return the instrument if you perform a dive into the cauldron.

Climb up to the scaffolding ledge and dive into the cauldron.

Get out of the cauldron and talk to the kids again and then they will run to hand over the instrument to the musicians.

Participate in brawl contest

Win a fist fight competition. You must defeat only one opponent - the hag.

Speak to Aegir

Just talk to him. You will find him more or less in the middle of the room.

Participate in archery contest

Take part in the archery competition.You must drink a mug of ale three times and then shoot down the vase before the timer counts down to zero.

Solve Gunlodr's riddles

You can also talk to Gunlodr and answer her three riddles. The correct answers are:

• Ale.
• Hammer.
• Swans and eggs.

Spice up the food

Sneak into the kitchen by entering the unlocked door on the right side of the throne.

Find and grab the spices.

Return to the feasting hall and apply the spices on four roasted pigs located on top of tables. After seasoning each pig, the bar will move slightly.

5. Speak to Suttungr

Once the cauldron is empy, talk to Suttungr. He will instruct Gunlodr to open the vault and allow the servants to bring more mead for the guests.

6. Find and get the Mead

Head to the vault.

When you go inside you will first need to talk to Gunlodr and explain to her what you are doing there.

• (Romance) I came to bring you a gift. - This dialogue option will be available if you have completed the quest "A Gift from the Past" and got the Thor's Circlet. You will spend some time with her and when she falls asleep you will be able to search the vault.
• I had to see you. - Gunlodr will not believe you and will call the guards that you will have to defeat.
• Out of my way! - Gunlodr will call the guards that you will have to defeat.

You will find the mead horn in one of the vault rooms.

7. Reach Mimir's Well / Defeat Suttungr

Exit the vault. When you do this then Suttungr and Loki will stand in your way.

After a short conversation with them, Suttungr will attack you and you will have to defeat him.

The fight against him can be divided into two phases. In the first, Suttungr will use a sword. Be prepared for the fact that when he does swing, it will usually be a minimum of two strokes. During the entire fight he will occasionally conjure up a storm of icicles. To protect yourself from damage and slowing down you have to stay close to one of the burning braziers.

Suttungr will enter the second phase when he loses about 50% HP. This time he will use the sword plus an off-hand axe. In this phase he can additionally release a wave of ice spikes towards you, which you can hide from by the braziers. Suttungr will also be able to put out braziers for a while, which will make it harder for you to hide from his ice attacks.

Once you defeat him, Loki will flee and after a short conversation with Suttungr, you will be able to continue on your way. This quest will end and you will receive another one.
