You will receive this officer quest at the end of the main quest This Old Cove, when your quartermaster, Adéwalé, informs you about your issues with crew discipline and tells you where to find a person who can handle the matter.
Determined to find a Master-at-Arms for the Jackdaw, Edward travels to Punta del Caracol in search of the Padre.
Hint:
Head to the small fishing settlement of Caracol. You will find Padre near the middle of the village, where he is preparing a meal for the locals.
Approach and speak with Padre. He won't be keen to return to his old life and will ask for your help in letting the villagers know that the meal is ready.
Hint:
You need to speak with three village residents. One is a man sawing wood. The second is a woman near the docks.
The third person is an elderly woman named Dinah, whom you will find near the buildings on the hill. She will ask you to bring her a meal.
Hint:
Return to Padre and pick up the food tray lying on the ground right next to him. Take the tray to Dinah.
Hint:
When Edward places the tray on the ground next to Dinah, speak with her again to exchange a few final words.
Return to Padre and speak with him again. He still won't want to join you, but he will have another request. Edward agrees to help him, which completes this quest and starts the next one - Loyalty, Discipline, and Courage.
