This is the second of the quests you must complete to have Lucy join your crew as a shipwright. It starts automatically after completing the quest "A Proper Shipwright."
Help Lucy with her troubles.
Return to Great Inagua and head to the local tavern. Stand by the railing to wait for Lucy - a cutscene will trigger in which Edward tries once again to recruit her to his crew.
Head up the main path leading through the village toward the quest marker, and Lucy will follow you. Shortly after, you will arrive near a building next to which several baskets of bananas are standing.
Pick up the container of plantains from the ground and head toward the villa with it.
Once you reach the destination, Lucy will ask for your help in recovering her grandfather's inheritance, after which she will join your crew as a new officer.
The bonus provided by having her in your crew is:
Perfect Brace
Brace just as an attack hits to greatly reduce damage to the Jackdaw.
Even if you have already been to the island, fast travel to it will be locked, so you must sail there aboard the Jackdaw.
When you approach the island, you will be attacked by two schooners and a gunboat. Sink them all. This is a good opportunity to try out the new skill you gained when Lucy joined your crew.
Simply sail close enough to the island, and a cutscene will trigger in which Edward and Lucy go ashore.
Hint:
Follow Lucy toward the two soldiers ahead of you. Climb up the leaning tree trunk to the top of the stone archway and perform a double assassination on the soldiers.
Continue following Lucy up the path. Sneak up on the guard on the right side and assassinate him. Lucy will take care of the second guard.
A short distance ahead, you will run into two more guards. Climb the leaning tree above them and hang one of the guards. Lucy will attack the second guard - wait for the right moment and air assassinate him.
Approach the manor from the northwest side, to the right of the main gate. This area is guarded by a single patrolling soldier. Leap over the wall and hide in the tall grass.
Whistle to lure the patrolling soldier into the tall grass and assassinate him.
Enter the ground floor of the building through the main entrance - the soldiers at the gate will not spot you and read the note - Barrister's Letter - lying on the table.
The second clue is on the upper floor. To get there, go back outside the same way you entered the building, climb up to the roof level, and head inside through the window or balcony.
The note - Last Will and Testament - is lying on the table.
Leave the estate grounds and head to the location where Lucy is waiting for you.
In the cutscene that triggers when you arrive, Edward will witness a confrontation between Lucy and her father.
Simply follow Lucy to the docks and board the Jackdaw, which is waiting anchored there.
Take the wheel of the Jackdaw and sail out into the open sea. This quest will end, and you will automatically receive the next one - Plantain!.
