This collection includes every marker from the Files category of points of interest in Resident Evil Requiem, all placed on interactive maps created specifically for the game.
In Resident Evil Requiem, Files are collectible documents and logs found throughout the game's environments. They aren't mission objectives but optional pieces of lore and information that you can pick up while exploring.
Files come in different forms, such as paper documents, letters, reports, audio recordings, and journal entries, and each one adds context to the world, characters, enemies, or events happening around you. They often explain backstory, reveal hidden plot details, or provide insight into what other survivors have experienced.
To collect a File, simply approach it and interact with it when prompted. Once picked up, it's typically stored in a menu or database you can review later at any time.
Finding all 75 Files unlocks the "Case Closed" achievement / trophy.
Note: Deluxe Edition owners can collect an additional 5 files (From Meryl to Mommy 1 - 5) that land in the "1998 Letters" tab. These must be gathered in the correct order, and the reward for collecting them all is the R.P.D. Charm.
