Prerequisites: To play this tale, you must first complete the tale A New Horizon.
This tale will be unlocked after completing "A New Horizon" main tale during which you will meet a monk named Norio for the first time.
(1 of 9) The warrior monk Norio told me a fellow monk of Cedar Temple is helping the people of Akashima Village. Norio asked me to join him there and bolster their efforts to resist the invaders.

When you reach the Akashima Village, you will only find Norio there, who will inform you that the other monks from his temple, including their master - Hochi, have been abducted by the Mongols.
I traveled to Akashima Village to help the warrior monk Norio and his fellow monks. But the monks were abducted by Mongols, and Norio and I must find them.
Follow Norio and he will lead you to a place where you should be able to find traces of the Mongols who abducted the monks. There you will start looking for traces.
The kidnappers' footprints are near the house a little to the north. If you won't find the tracks, Norio will find them after a while and call you.
Follow the tracks to the east. After some time you will reach a road where you will notice several monks and their oppressors around. You decide to rescue the prisoners on your own, so you tell Norio to hide somewhere and wait.
Keep in mind that once you're spotted by the Mongols, they'll try to kill the prisoners. So try to eliminate a few of them discreetly first. For example, those standing on the rocks on the north side and the patrol on the south side. When you are detected by your opponents, Norio will join the fight.
When you get rid of all the enemies and free the captured monks, they will tell you about another group of Mongols who chased one of them who broke loose and that they will return soon.
A moment later, a few Mongols will arrive from the north and you will be attacked by them. The monks will hide behind one of the nearby rocks and you and Norio will have to defend them because the Mongols will try to kill them.
Once it's safe, the monks will come out of hiding and you will be able to talk to them. You'll learn from them that Hochi was taken by another group of Mongols. Norio will return to the village to try to figure out where Mongols could take Hochi and this tale will be completed.
After completing this tale, you will be able to play the tale Three Actions, Three Illusions.
