This tale will be unlocked when you complete "The Blood Sutra" and "The Cause of Suffering" tales.
(7 of 9) The Mongols tried to punish Kushi Temple for resisting the invasion. Norio and l defended the temple, but another attack is coming. Norio and I will ensure Kushi Temple remains safe.

Talk to Norio and he will inform you that the monks went to the river to take a bath and do some laundry. Your conversation will be interrupted by the arrival of the Mongolian messenger. He will demand you to surrender and when you refuse him, he will blow a horn to give a signal to his companions and then attack you. Of course you must kill him.
Once you get rid of the messenger, you will want to run to the river to save the monks and Norio will insist on staying and defending the temple. You will decide to split.
Mongols are about to attack Kushi Temple. I need to protect the monks outside the temple grounds, while Norio insists he must defend the temple.
You will find the monks near the house by the river southeast of the temple. When you get there, you will instruct the monks to hide in the house and after a while you will be attacked by a few Mongols who are invading from the south side.
Take care of the first group of Mongols. After a while Norio will join you. He has come to the conclusion that the life of the monks is more important than the temple and has come to help you. Unfortunately, besides him, a second group of Mongols will also arrive and you will have to get rid of them all. Once your opponents are dead, talk to Norio. You will decide to return to the temple and continue the fight against the invaders there.
Lead the others back to the temple. When you get there, you'll encounter more Mongols there and you'll have to kill them all. It's gonna be a tough fight, get ready to fight with a lot of more and more powerful opponents.
When the fight is over, talk to Norio. He will thank you for what you have done for the monks and tell you about his plans to return to Cedar Temple where he will wait for you.
Afterwards, Norio will want to check the Buddha statue for the last time. Go inside and you will see that the statue was destroyed by the Mongols. This will end this series of tales about Norio.
