This quest will be assigned to you by Barden Middler, the Marshal of Hernand, during the conversation that takes place in the "Awestruck" quest.
Bandits have taken control of both the floodgate and bridge, the lifelines of Hernand. They are robbing travelers and obstructing the water flow, causing the entire town to suffer.
Rewards: Medium Bag x1, Toasted Grains x10, Grilled Fruit x5.
Head to the area south and slightly east of the city, to Springtide Mill. Bandits are occupying both sides of the bridge located nearby. Eliminate all of them. The counter on the left side of the screen, counting down from 100%, indicates how many bandits remain.
After taking out all the enemies, the quest will conclude, and your character will respawn near the notice boards on the south side of the mill.
The bandits that held the town's water supply hostage were driven out. Peace has returned to the town and surrounding farmland.
