This quest is the follow-up to "Traces in the Manor." Your objective is to locate the destination where the Count and your two companions, Andrew and Naira, have gone.

You discovered fresh tracks from the count's escape. Find and reunite with your comrades before the lead is lost.

1. Track the Devil of the Reed Field

Exit through the window, turn right, and use your lantern. You should see a yellow line; follow it. If you lose your way, use the lamp again to reveal the path.

When you reach the vicinity of a shack located slightly to the south, you will be attacked by a group of nine enemies. Eliminate them and continue following the yellow trail.

Near the next building by the road, another ambush awaits you. This time, there are over ten enemies. You must take them out as well.

Eventually, you will reach the shack where count, Naira and Andrew are staying.

2. Find Andrew and Naira

Simply approach the shack to trigger a cutscene in which the Devil of the Reed attacks the count and your friends before retreating. This will complete the current quest and begin the next one - Seed of Unease.

The pursuit ended in tragedy, Count Grace has perished, and your comrades are heavily injured. The culprit slipped away in an effortless show of mockery. If he's not stopped, there will only be further bloodshed.
