Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest The King is Dead - Long Live the King.
You will receive this quest automatically when you complete "The King is Dead - Long Live the King" quest.
A magic cataclysm had devastated a large part of the isle of Ard Skellig, and Yennefer suspected Ciri had had something to do with it. The raven-haired sorceress thus set out with Geralt to the isle's mysteriously deformed woods to look for signs of their one-time ward's presence.
Druids' Camp
The Skellige Isles
Head to the Druids' Camp. You'll meet Yennefer and Ermion arguing with each other there.
Druid will be angry with her for stealing the mask.
When you're busy talking to Ermion about the role of the Mask of Uroboros, Yennefer will move away from you unnoticed and at some point you'll witness a giant lightning which means that Yennefer used a mask.
Run down the hill to the place where Yennefer is. When you get there, you'll have to help her kill fogglet (17).
Once you're safe, Yennefer will tell you how she wants to use the mask. He'll give it to you to put it on then she will be able to cast spells.
Go to the first place where you can use the mask and put it on.
You'll see a vision where two people, one of whom is Ciri, walk out of the portal.
Go to the other place, kill another foglet (17) and use the mask. You'll see another vision where Ciri and her companion were attacked. Ciri's companion caused a magical explosion and thanks to that they managed to escape.
Go to the next place, eliminating another foglet on the way. When you get there and use the mask, you will see a vision where someone attacked Ciri but she managed to escape through the portal.
Go to the next place and use the mask. In this vision you will see the fight of Ciri's companion with the one who attacked her.
That was the last of the vision. The weather will begin to improve and Ermion will join you. Together you will summarize what you have learned so far.
Approach the fallen tree. Yennefer will remove the obstacle and you will find the remains of the one who attacked Ciri underneath.
It will turn out it belongs to the rider of the Wild Hunt. Ermion will inform you that a few weeks later after the explosion the Wild Hunt has also been seen on Hindarsfjall. You and Yennefer will decide to go there.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Missing Persons.
