Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Red Dead Redemption.
This mission begins automatically after completing the Red Dead Redemption mission. From now on, you will play as John Marston. Several years have passed since the last events. John, Abigail and their son Jack have returned to the region of the town of Strawberry and are looking for a place to settle down and find a job.
Several years after fleeing Dutch and the gang, John, Abigail and Jack look for work in the town of Strawberry.

Pronghorn Ranch

Go to Strawberry.
When you arrive in the city, stop the wagon near the local shop.
Enter the store and talk to the shopkeeper about finding a job. He will hire you to take the supplies to the Pronghorn Ranch.
While waiting for loading, go to the local doctor's office. You will meet Abigail there, who will inform you that she has also found a job as an assistant in the office.
Go back to your wagon. The goods have already been loaded and the wagon is ready to leave.
In order to earn the gold medal in this mission, you need to reach Pronghorn Ranch without dropping any supplies. There is no time limit in this mission so you don't have to hurry. Drive carefully to avoid hitting anything. When you get to the ranch, the local overseer, Mr. Dickens, will verify that the supplies arrived in one piece.
John will ask Mr. Dickens about the job. When you talk, two outlaws will appear at the ranch. They'll start digging into the supplies you've brought and after a while they'll steal the wagon and leave.
If you want to get the gold medal in this mission, you have to get your wagon back within one minute. Quickly hop on a nearby horse and rush after the wagon.
Pull up to the wagon from the side and when it's possible jump onto it. John will automatically knock the thugs off the wagon and take control of it.
Drive the wagon back to Mr. Dickens.
John will ask the overseer about the job again. Mr. Dickens will promise to talk to the ranch owner the next day. He will also offer you to spend the night in one of the cabins on the ranch and that he will take care of bringing Abigail and Jack to the ranch next day.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission Simple Pleasures.
