Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the mission Motherhood.
You will be able to start this semi-mission after completing the Motherhood mission. To do this, go to Blackwater, enter the bank and talk to Ansel Atherton, the banker mentioned to you by Mr. Geddes.
John meets a banker in Blackwater to secure a loan in order to purchase some land at Beecher's Hope.

Initially John will lose hope of getting a loan and will even want to resign, but the guarantee from Mr. Geddes will turn out to be so good that the banker will agree to grant you the loan.
The banker will explain to you what your obligations will be when you take out a loan and will also mention the squatters who have settled on the property you want to buy. Then he will take care of preparing documents that you will be able to sign when you get rid of unwanted residents.
Arthur will leave the bank to take care of the squatters and the mission will end.
