Quest Group: Chapter 2 - Horseshoe Overlook
Category: Story Mission
Prerequisites: To play this mission, you must first complete the missions Blessed are the Meek?, Pouring Forth Oil I-III.
To be able to start this mission, you must first release Micah from prison in the Blessed are the Meek? mission and then wait a little while until the mission marker appears on the map. In my case it was when I completed the Pouring Forth Oil I-III mission.
Micah will be waiting for you in his temporary camp hidden between the rocks near Strawberry. He wants you to help him rob the banking stagecoach.
Following a tip-off, Micah and Arthur rob a banking stagecoach.
Get on your horse, ride with Micah to the overlook and wait for the stagecoach to show up.
When the stage shows up, go after him.
There are a total of four mounted guards protecting the stagecoach. You have to headshot all of them to fulfill one of the gold medal requirements. You should use Dead Eye to simultaneously score the first kills needed to meet another gold medal requirement.
To meet the time limit requirement for a gold medal, do not shoot stagecoach drivers too early. Once you stop the coach, you will have to ride the rest of the route together with Micah and you will be moving much slower than the running stage. Of course, you can't wait too long.
When everyone is dead, Micah will jump on the stagecoach driver's seat. Get in the seat next to him.
When you're riding on the stagecoach, Micah will hand you a new gun - Lancaster Repeater.
After a while, once you get close to a river, you'll be ambushed by a rival gang.
Your opponents will attack you from several directions and there will be many of them. Remember that you need a total of 10 kills in Dead Eye. You can stay in the same place, behind a huge rock, the whole time and effectively avoid being hit.
When you've eliminated all enemies, come to the crashed stagecoach. Micah will ask you to shoot the lock so do it. If you don't, Micah will do it for you after a while.
There's quite a bit of cash inside, $300 for you, $600 for the gang.
After sharing the loot you will go your own ways and the mission will end.
After completing this mission, you will be able to play the mission A Strange Kindness.
