Quest Group: East Anglia / The Tale of Thegn Oswald
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest A Fury from the Sea.
This quest begins after capturing Burgh Castle and completing "A Fury from the Sea" quest.
There are vows to be made and promises to be kept. Eivor takes part in the festivities with her new allies.
Note: Depending on your decisions in this quest, you will be able to recruit Finnr to join your crew or it will not be possible.
Elmenham
England
Go back to Elmenham and talk to Oswald who will be waiting for you near the church.
After a while you will take part in the wedding ceremony of Oswald and Valdis.
One of the activities that you can take part in is to shoot pots with a bow. If you manage to do so within the set time limit, you will receive some silver.
Another activity is a drinking contest. If you want, you can bet some money.
You will also have the opportunity to romance with one of the brothers, Broder. Whether you play male or female does not matter.
Then you will have to get Finnr down from the roof. Climb up and talk to him.
When he loses consciousness, take him on your back and carry him to the ground jumping on piles.
When you are ready for the final speech, talk to Oswald. Depending on whether you killed Rued or not, in "A Fury from the Sea" quest, the next events will be different.
Nothing will disturb the ceremony and a bide race will start after a while.
This time it will be easier to defeat him, because there will be no wolf and Rued is weakened.
Rued, who managed to escape the soldiers guarding him, will show up at the wedding and challenge Oswald to a duel.
Oswald will accept his challenge, but who will fight will be up to you.
No matter what fate Rued faced. Oswald will eventually become your ally.
If you killed Rued, no matter when, you will be able to recruit Finnr to join your crew. You will meet him in the longhouse.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Reporting on East Anglia.
