This quest starts automatically after the events that took place in "A Triumphant Return" quest.

Quest stages of Raising Iron
1. Speak to Finnr
Go back to Northwic and talk to Finnr. Together with him and Valdis, you will agree what to do next to get rid of Rued's men.
2. Travel to Theotford
When you get to the village, you will notice that Rued's men have already visited it.
3. Speak to the reeve
Talk to the reeve. He will not be too eager to join you and Eivor will decide to solve one of his problems to convince him to cooperate.
4. Clear out Rued's men
Travel to King's Bury and raid the village. Kill all Rued's men. You will encounter slightly more difficult opponents in the church.
5. Climb the church's tower to signal the reeve
When you get rid of all the enemies, climb to the top of the church and blow the horn. After a while the reeve will come to the village.
6. Speak to the reeve
Talk to the reeve. He and his men will decide to help you in attacking Burgh Castle.
