Quest Group: Eurvicscire / The Sayings of Halfdan
You will be able to receive this quest after you complete the quests in Jorvik. You can then approach the alliance table in your settlement and choose Eurvicscire.
Word of Eivor's deeds in Jorvik has reached Halfdan's ears, and he summons Eivor for a talk.
Anlaf's Lookout

Travel to Anlaf's Lookout. When you get there you will notice traces of a battle.
Follow the trail and after a while you should find a few Halfdan's warriors, including Faravid.
Talk to Faravid. Your conversation will be interrupted by a sudden attack of Picts.
They will attack from the nearby hillside...
...as well as they will also be coming from the top of the hill. You must eliminate them all.
After killing them all, talk to Farqvid again. After a short while more enemies will appear on the hill.
When the situation seems hopeless, Halfdan will come with his warriors and rescue you.
Once it is safe, Eivor will speak to Halfdan, who will discreetly let him know that he wants to speak with him in private and then depart for his castle.
Head to Donecaestre. You will find Halfdan in one of the rooms in the middle part of the main fortress building.
When you get there you will witness his dispute with King Ricsige. Then Halfdan will talk to Faravid and when the latter departs to his camp, Halfdan will tell you to talk to him in his chambers located at the top of the tower.
Halfdan will head to his chambers, it's best if you just follow him there.
When you get there, talk to him and you will find out that Halfdan thinks that Faravid is plotting to kill him. He will ask you to find evidence for this. Eivor will agree to do this and this quest will end.
After completing this quest, you will be able to play the quest Honor Has Two Edges.
