Quest Group: Eurvicscire / The Sayings of Halfdan
Prerequisites: To play this quest, you must first complete the quest Reporting on Eurvicscire.
You will receive this quest, which is a kind of epilogue to the events that took place in Jorvik and Eurvicscire, after completing the quest "Reporting on Eurvicscire".
Eivor returns to Halfdan but finds only Moira and something amiss.

Return to the Royal Hall in Jorvik. You will not find Halfdan there, but if you talk to Moira you will learn where to go to find him.
Travel to Picheringa.
You will find Halfdan near one of the huts in the village.
Jarl will be disheartened by the recent events. In addition, he has lost his hammer and will ask you to retrieve it.
Go to the Dalby Forest.
There you will find Halfdan's dog, Beonton, guarding the hammer and three wolves. Kill the wolves and grab the hammer.
Halfdan will be waiting for you near the Scarborough waypoint. When you talk to him you will learn how he got his hammer.
Halfdan will also ask you how his brother Ivarr died. You can tell him that Ivarr either died a warrior or a coward, he will calmly acknowledge what you say.
At the end of your conversation he will have one last request for you to light the beacon.
Climb the tower, and draw the torch to light the brazier. This will end this quest.
