I Just Want to Talk

To start this quest, complete the "It's a Start" quest and then head to Nassau to talk to Lucy, who will be waiting for you near the tavern there.

1. Kill Maynard's Treasurer in Nassau

The person you are looking for is located near the beach, in the southwestern part of the island, so head to that area. He is accompanied by a group of four tough British soldiers.

If you are detected, the Treasurer will start running away and the soldiers will attack you, so it is best to sneak up on them unnoticed using the tall grass and take out the Treasurer with a well-aimed headshot. Shooting the fleeing Treasurer in the back is also not a bad idea.

2. Loot the Treasurer

You can kill the soldiers accompanying the Treasurer, or you can ignore them, quickly run to the corpse, loot it - which will get you the Letter From Maynard - and then escape.

3. Speak to Lucy

Lucy is waiting for you at the dock where the Jackdaw is moored. Edward will show her the letter he got, and it turns out Lucy knows the place described in the letter.

4. Reach the Jackdaw

To complete this quest, simply return to the Jackdaw and take the wheel. After completing this quest and the "Not Our Natural Alies" quest, the "A Cockalorum" quest will start automatically.
