Quest Group: Secondary Quests

Suggested level: 13

Location: Novigrad

You can start this quest by talking to the Guard who is trying to settle a conflict between two merchants. He will ask you to kill the monster that is in their warehouse.

Geralt can hardly spend a day in even the most seemingly idyllic village without being asked to kill a monster, so it should come as no surprise such requests came to him in Novigrad as well. On one occasion he was asked to clean a warehouse of nekkers. The two owners - a man and a dwarf - blamed each other for attracting the monsters there in a plot to gain sole control over the building.

Quest stages of Warehouse of Woe

1. Kill the monster.

Go into the warehouse and kill the nekker (13) who's there. Before you leave the warehouse, use your senses and find two traces, a destroyed cage and dwarf footprints.

Kill the monster.

2. Tell the guardsman what happened in the warehouse.

Go back to the guard and tell him what you found out. If you've examined both clues in the warehouse, you can tell the guard about the cage and then accuse one of the merchants. The guilty one is of course dwarf. Acuse him and he will be arrested. If you accuse the human then he'll go to jail.

If you haven't examined the clues, the guard will take both merchants to his commander to settle their dispute.

If you have only examined the cage, you will tell the guard about it but you will not accuse anyone. The guard will lock both traders in the hope that one of them will finally confess his guilt.

In all cases you will receive 60 crowns.

Tell the guardsman what happened in the warehouse.
